Aluminium Boats Australia building two One2three catamarans

Aluminium Boats Australia has started building two One2three designed catamarans for operators in Queensland. As previously reported, one is a 30m ferry ordered by Sunferries. The other will be a 24m excursion vessel for Whale Watch Australia. The ferry will carry 222 passengers at a service speed of 28 knots, the whalewatch-ing vessel will carry 160 passengers at 26 knots. The two catamarans are scheduled to be delivered in the second and third quarters of 2008.
