Fintry and Kockums establish partnership

Fintry Marine Design and Kockums have announced that they have "reached an agreement to co-operate in the marketing, design and construction of fast ferry, work and pilot boats built in an innovative carbon fibre reinforced sandwich structure".rnThe Swiss based design company reports, "For the past five years, Fintry has beenrninvolved in designing special workboats to transport supplies and service personnel to, from and within offshore wind parks in the waters of Northern Europe. The low displacement of the vessels, due to composite material, reduces the risk of damage to the turbines when docking.
