摘要

In this paper, we review and verify the performance of LEACH-FL which was proposed as a way to address the issues of uncertain cluster head election of LEACH. LEACH cannot guarantee the availability of an elected cluster head. Furthermore, not optimized cluster head selection can impede lifetime of the sensor node and the whole network. To improve these issues, LEACH-FL adopts the fuzzy logic in cluster head selection. Clustering algorithm adopts fuzzy logic which can make appropriate cluster formation using fuzzy input variables for reflect sensor field attributes. In this research, we apply the Uniform Election Algorithm of the cluster head to prevent unneeded energy consumption which can occur in case of too much or too less selection.
