摘要

To increase the safety and enhance efficiency in underground mining operations, positioning the workers and equipment in real time is of great importance. Underground mine environments generally consist of long and narrow tunnels, the numerous obstacles preventing the use of the techniques suited for outdoor and other indoor, environments. This paper discusses the positioning principles of the technologies which can be used in underground mines and reviews the technologies which could be used for future underground mine positioning.
