"To stay stagnant is not an option for the cruise industry because our business model is predicated on growth," maintained Holland America president Stein Kruse.rnKruse told the Cruise Shipping Miami conference last week: "Nobody's rushing out at this very moment to order ships, but the reality is that the euro-dollar exchange rate has become more favourable, there's downward pressure on raw material costs, there are opportunities for increased [construction] productivity, and there are shipyards around the world looking to add orders."
