Yet leaders are now recognising that it won't be the same old industry by mid-2010.rnCongressman Elijah Cummings opened this year's CMA proceedings with a characteristically forceful address in which he admitted that US shipping was sailing in uncharted waters. "We cannot resolve the crisis on Main Street," he said, "until we solve the problem on Wall Street." By which he means greed, excess and reluctance to return bonus payments. It's a "slap in the face of hard-working Americans."
