DNV has announced the appointment of Stuart Brewer as communication manager of its newly established Sustainability & Innovation Division. The division was set up to steer the Norwegian classification society towards green service growth and research and innovation. Brewer will focus on building DNV's global brand recognition in managing risk, research and environmental sustainability and, in particular, climate change. He will be based in Oslo and report to DNV COO Bjorn K Haugland. During his 13 years with DNV, Brewer has built up wide international experience within communications and branding, including a stint in China.
