Singapore starts Beluga's multi-purpose project

Representing a new milestone in the development of heavy-lift project carrier capacity, Beluga Shipping's P-classtookfirst form in October 2009 with the delivery of Beluga Singapore. Constructed by Qingshan Shipyard of China in co-operation with Volharding Shipyards of the Netherlands, Beluga Singapore has been cast in the multipurpose mould with the substantial added benefit of an 800t tandem lift capability.
