Architecture and Vision: From Pyramids to Spacecraft The Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago is the first venue to host a traveling exhibition of selected projects by the design studio Architecture and Vision, founded by Italian architect Arturo Vittori and Swiss architect Andreas Vogler. Works on display include a model of A&V's inflatable space station MoonBaseTwo (2007) for conducting experiments on the Moon, and MarsCruiserOne (2007), a pressurized mobile lab vehicle for exploring Mars. The designers' prototype DesertSeal (above) became part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in 2006.
