MGM RECORDS EARLY SALES FOR SPACETALK SMARTWATCH IN UK

MGM says the UK launch will follow the “successful marketing roadmap” used in the Australia and New Zealand markets. MGM Wireless launched the watch in the UK in January, hailing the launch as a major step forward in its international expansion plans. In New Zealand the country’s largest telco Spark supports the marketing of the SPACETALK smartwatch. MGM Wireless says the first sales in the UK came via its UK sales website, www.spacetalkwatch.co.uk. The company has announced that Spacetalk has established a fourperson sales and servicing division based outside London, and a fulfillment centre has been established, allowing for direct supply from in-country inventory. SPACETALK says it will enter the UK market with its updated v1.1 model which is specifically tuned to UK mobile bandwidth and UK conditions. Just as in Australia, SPACETALK says it will initially sell independently through online channels while continuing negotiations with High Street retailers.
