EIB loan for Valeo

The European Investment Bank (EIB) announced, on 22 July, that it would be lending up to €300 million to Valeo. The funding will support the French group's research projects aiming to reduce fuel consumption and CO, emissions of vehicles and to improve active safety. Valeo will be investing a total of €645 million in these projects over four years. The EIB loan will come with competitive terms and the first instalment of €225 million will be made available by the end of July. It is provided under the bank's European Clean Transport Facility (ECTF).
