Final touches hit carbon capture and storage

With ministers still failing to agree on the financing of the €5 billion economic recovery plan (see separate article), the latest compromise proposal from the Czech EU Presidency for energy projects continues to eat into money earmarked for carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects. As reported broadband internet, together with measures related to the Common Agricultural Policy 'health check', now amount to €1100 million. However, additional money is given for energy-related projects, such as intercon-rnnectors and offshore wind.
