New DGs and appointments

The European Commission launched, on 2 June, a first reshuffling of its directors-general and simultaneously created two new directorates-general. A second set of reappointments will follow before the summer for deputy directors-general.rnJonathan Faull (British) moves from DG Justice, Freedom and Security to DG Internal Market-Services and Stefano Manser-visi (Italian) is transferred from DG Development to the newly created DG Home Affairs. Both have reached five years in their present job and have to be transferred.
