35 mn euro for eco-innovation

Forty-two projects covering a range of environmental innovations that all aim to help protect the environment and lengthen Europe's competitive lead will receive total EU funding of €35 million. The European Commission published, on 30 June, the list of projects selected under a 2010 tender as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP). It notes that funding requests are already streaming in for the 2011 call for proposals.
