Executive hears stakeholders' views on collective redress

The debate remained very theoretical, on 4 April, at the European Commission's public hearing on collective redress. Certain subjects nevertheless sparked more interest than others, in particular the US system of class actions. Participants were divided between proponents of a similar approach in the Union and those arguing for the development of a European strategy.
