Court validates French scheme for reimbursement of costs

EU law does not preclude a decision by French authorities making a scheme for supplementary reimbursement of health care costs mandatory, with no exemptions allowed for a given sector. Thus replied the EU Court of Justice, on 3 March, to a reference for a preliminary ruling submitted by the Court of First Instance in Perigueux, France.
