Damanaki presses for more coordinated international action

A year after the entry into force of EU regulations on combating illegal, unre-ported and unregulated (IUU) fishing1 and on strengthening fisheries control activities2, the track record is satisfactory on the whole, judged Fisheries Commissioner Maria Damanaki at a seminar on this subject, on 3 March.
