SEFI is a non-profit international organization under Belgian Law. Founded in 1973, SEFI is a non-governmental organization whose aims are: to contribute to the development and improvement of engineering education as well as to the position of engineering professionals; to provide appropriate services and to promote information about engineering education; to improve communication between teachers, researchers and students in European countries; to develop cooperation between educational engineering institutions and establishments of higher technical education; to promote cooperation between industry and those in engineering education; to act as interlocutor between members and other societies and organizations.
