First of all, I would like to congratulate the authors for a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of practical adaptive algorithms for pH control on a pilot plant. Extensive planning, development and effort are involved in experimental evaluation although the final results can perhaps be obtained in a few months. Hence, authors should consider providing additional Results and discussion based on their study, particu- Larly in response to the following comments, in order To enhance the value of the manuscript.
