This is the fifth edition of this well-regarded text, with two of the three authors returning from the previous edition and joined by Andrew Griffiths. The authors are well-known experts in the field of intellectual property (IP). While it is difficult to summarise their experience in a few lines, Alison Firth is a visiting professor and lectures in IP law and, as an academic, her research considers the relationship of IP law with other areas. Peter Cornford, a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney, specialises in the protection, exploitation and enforcement of trade marks, while Andrew Griffiths also lectures and is Professor of Law at Newcastle University.
