"Hey, slow it down, there're families walking around. Take it to the track!" That was the soundtrack of the 2016 Bimmerfest in Fontana, California. That was half of it at least; the emcee of the event screaming over the PA at reckless drivers was just the lyric floating over the unmelodic sound of every type and displacement of BMW engine being bounced mercilessly off the rev limiter in an effort to show off the prideful owner's recent eBay exhaust acquisition. That and lots of vaping sums up the 17th annual Bimmerfest, at least that is unfortunately what stands out in my memory.
