District Energy Leads the Way to Copenhagen

Immediate carbon emission reductions are achievable through use of district energy and combined heat and power systems. This will be demonstrated to national and local government leaders in November 2009 prior to the COPT 5 Summit in Copenhagen.rnIn December 2007, at the UN Climate Change Conference in Bali, Indonesia, an action plan was agreed to lead to a new global climate change agreement This is to be finalized in Copenhagen at COP 15 summit on 30 November 2009 to 11 December 2009. It is widely anticipated that the environment and energy policy world will be watching as global leaders gather in Copenhagen to decide the next steps for evident climate challenge.
