Heat Meters in Typical Installations

Against the background of rising energy costs there is a growing interest of the general public for custody transfer meters for consumption. Further the public and the media refer about the error of measurement of special meter types. For those reason there is a growing number of validity checked meters at the notified bodies, because more and more customers don't trust the meters. Heat meters are the smallest part in the group of utility meters like gas meters, water meters, electricity meters and heat meters. Two different cases for the heat distribution have to be considered: 1.Delivering by a fix energy pay scale (price per Energy unit) and 2.Distribution by a defined energy quantity according to recorded visible markings.
