摘要

A new model is proposed allowing the prediction of daily heat fluxes through the walls of buried pipes while considering oscillating temperatures in the soil and in the pipes. As the model can deal with both insulated and uninsulated pipes, it can be applied for determining the optimal insulation thickness in district cooling and district heating networks.
