The ongoing urbanization and the European ambitions for the energy sector place district energy in a pivotal role in the future society. Here cooperations between public and private sectors are vital for a successful implementation. The following article is based on a presentation the author Peter Heymann Andersen will give at the Euroheat & Power Congress that takes place on 28 and 29 April 2014 in Brussels/Belgium.
