Development of Sustainable Heat Markets for Biogas Plants in Europe

Biogas production in Europe has increased massively over the last years. However, the focus was too often on electricity generation ignoring the wasted surplus heat. The Biogas Heat Project aims at facilitating the utilisation of this heat by identifying good practices and barriers, overcoming limitations, supporting real project implementation and sharing the gained insights with a broad audience.
