Aarhus Municipality leads the way when it comes to the environment. Eight years ago, the council of Denmark's second-biggest municipality decided that the municipality would be 100% CO_2-neutral by 2030. Up until 2017, Kamstrup will provide 53,000 intelligent district heating meters for the municipality. The project is the world's biggest wireless district heating network, which will ensure the municipality's district heating company Affaldvarme Aarhus, can monitor the network and have all the data it needs to optimise energy supply.
