Large-scale Solar District Heating System Operates as Expected

摘要

The integration of a short-term flat-bottom storage with stratification (non-pressurized) into the solar thermal system along with the conventional combined heat and power plant requires a special concept. The first monitoring results show that the system in general operates as expected. The operating strategy of the two-zone storage, capable of storing hot water of about 108 ℃, is investigated for the summer and winter periods. There is a potential of improvement in the utilisation of the storage capacity. Furthermore, different operating modes of heat supply to the network are presented.
