摘要

As a guest editor, I am pleased to offer a Special Section of the ETRI Journal devoted to the topic of Broadcasting & Telecommunications Media. The technologies in the field of Broadcasting & Telecommunications Media are expected to play a very important role in realizing the knowledge-based society of the future. This is a society in which human life, media and telecommunications are fused naturally and extended realistically. Therefore, the development of broadcast and telecommunication convergence technology that covers broadcasting, smart media, radio, and satellite communication will become a very necessary element to achieve a warm-hearted society. This special issue of ETRI Journal presents research articles on current and emerging technologies in the field of Broadcasting & Telecommunications Media.
