Salland care landscape seeks weary walker

Palmbout Urban Landscapes' 2000 proposal for Deventer Landstad, or Deventer Country Town, is an innovative concept for the landscape, introducing small-scale enclaves for people to live and work in which will develop into new sources of vitality for the entire landscape. In this proposal, existing farmsteads are kept but new buildings will be grafted onto them. Currently, there are two trends in Dutch rural areas, trends which tend to be contradictory but which could complement each other perfectly.
