In a paper written in 1962, Professor Sir Frederic Bartlett outlined that the problems that ergonomics would face in the future are all closely connected with automation, or cybernation, in the practical life of nearly all contemporary social groups. And as a result of the growth of new forms of controlling operations, he envisioned the change of the nature of work.
