Behavioural adaptation and road safety

摘要

This book takes a great approach to people and their ability to adapt. In essence, the authors tell us from the outset that adaptation is a sign of intelligent behaviour and a very useful characteristic of humans, in most cases. However, adaptation can come in a positive, neutral or negative form and in terms of the latter it can effectively undermine all of the efforts made to design safety countermeasures.
