Hydrogen Production Technology Status and New Developments

The paper and the associated presentation of October 15, 2003, in Dresden [1] gives an overview of the state of the art and some present R&D programs for hydrogen production technologies. After an introduction to the hydrogen market including consumers and growth rates several production technologies are presented. In the second part some new developments like the application of membrane technologies for hydrogen production and separation as well as implementations of membrane concepts and other process options for small-scale hydrogen plants are shown.
