The 11th Annual Waste Testing and Quality Assurance Symposium

The symposium was established 11 years ago to foster partnership between the regulated community and its supporting laboratories and state and federal regulators from the RCRA, CERCLA, and related programs. The growth of the conference over the past decade confirmed its necessity, especially as an important mechanism for cooperation within the various communities. The symposium has three goals: to serve as a forum for cooperation for cost-effective solutions to RCRA and CERCLA environmental monitoring/ waste characterization problems; to provide timely information on EPA activities that might affect the activities of the public or state regulatory agencies; and to spur an information exchange on new and less costly approaches to environmental monitoring.
