Glaze wrote that "the search for a better, more ethical, more sustainable society must go on, and although we will never succeed in reaching perfection, all of us must take responsibility for its progress."rnTrue to his word, Glaze has never stopped searching. He views environmental progress as a never-ending journey-one that all members of the scientific community have an obligation to collectively navigate. Through a full and impressive career, Glaze helped shepherd a generation of scientists along the path toward sustainability and cleared the way for colleagues, peers, and students to traverse altogether new roads toward the same destination.
