Comment on 'Critical Review of Pd-Based Catalytic Treatment of Priority Contaminants in Water'

Chaplin et al. recently published in this journal a critical review on reduction of water contaminants using Pd-based catalysts. Their comprehensive literature review on the many facets of Pd catalysis relevant for environmental issues is very much to acknowledge and I agree with many of the derived conclusions. I'd also like to thank the authors for extensively considering the publications from our group on hydrodehalogenation reactions using Pd catalysts.
