This article continues a series of writings highlighting the economic and financial benefits associated with good environmental planning and management strategies, which can lead to increased financial value for business organizations. This article builds on an earlier series of writings that dealt with using landfill gas (LFG) for energy. The series presented practical concepts regarding the use of landfill gas for energy production, with emphasis on the potential economic, financial, and environmental benefits of implementing LFG-to-energy projects.
