Leaked climate science draft forces administration’s hand

The Trump administration has been methodically deleting from its websites or otherwise disassociating itself from reports and other information about science that supports the theory that human activity is causing changes to the global climate. But some federal activities previous administrations set in motion have still been slipping through into the public’s view. One such report that recently generated new charges that the administration is suppressing climate science is an advanced draft of the Climate Science Special Report (CSSR) developed by the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP). This article describes the controversy surrounding the draft CSSR as well as main findings and conclusions.
