If you desire super filtration ("Bottled Water Backlash," cover story, May/ June 2008), your needs are best served by installing a filter on your tap. Jay Lustgarten Westerly, RI In regards to the bottled water industry being named the newest scapegoat for the increase in landfill waste: PET (#2) plastic is recyclable and recycling centers are available in most communities. It is the consumer's choice to not recycle.
