The book International Environmental Law and the Global South is a comprehensive collection of chapters that examine the history, development and application of international environmental law in the North-South context. In generally accessible non-legal language, it provides a good overview of the historic roots and challenges for today's global environmental governance framework (in Part I of the book), and a large number of examples (in Parts II-IV) of how fundamental injustices are manifested in the relationship between industrialised countries and the global South, rich and poor, or powerful and weaker actors at the international and also the national level.
