Viewpoint form a Community; Environmental health problems at the agricultural landfill neighborhood -- a community's perspective

This is a story of an African-American community and its fight to gain environmental justice. It was a community carefully planned by all aspects of the government. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development approved funds under a federal agent to allow the City of New Orleans and the Housing Authority of New Orleans to build a community on top of a landfill. The main agency under he Housing Authority of New Orleans, Desire Community Housing Corporation (DCHC), was instrumental in targeting low-income African-Americans.
