Schools put Lockheed technology box to the test

Bedfordshire schools have been testing a technology box challenge supplied by Lockheed Martin (UK), designed to promote students to consider a future career in STEM subjects -science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The boxes contained robotic arm kits, Raspberry Pi computers and Lego Mindstorm robots, with a challenge set by the LM graduates to conjure up innovative ways to transport six creme eggs across a course using a combination of the five arms and the Mindstorm robot.
