MEP Calls For A Framework Integrated Product Policy Directive

Swedish Christian Democrat Anders Wijkman is calling on the European Commission to draft a framework directive for integrated product policy rather than a mere communication. In a draft report presented to the European Parliament's Environment Committee on March 15 Wijkman said that the Commission should take a more proactive approach since its communication 'provided only limited guidance'.
