French green dot scheme Eco Emballages saw a slight drop in income last year, to around ?400 million, due to factors such as a drop in plastic bag use, managing director Bernard Herodin said. "We are a little bit behind the figures of previous years," he told EE & PL. "Packaging consumption in France is not increasing any more as prevention activities (see this issue) and the reduction in the weight of packaging has impacted on Eco Emballages.
