Polish law sets recovery targets for end-of-life goods

Almost half of Poland's "junk mail", such as brochures and advertising leaflets, must be recovered by 2014, according to Poland's new draft law setting recovery and recycling targets for several end of life products and materials.rnThe draft, published recently by Poland's environment ministry and to come into effect on 1 January 2009, would extend producer responsibility to waste cooking oil, end of life tyres and brochures and advertising leaflets.
