Environment Council meets in Luxembourg

The Environment Council holds its first formal meeting under the French presidency on Monday 20 October with on the agenda, the energy and climate package, the sustainable consumption and production action plan and genetically modified organisms. Also on Monday the European Parliament's Temporary Committee on Climate Change meets on the sideline of the Strasbourg plenary session.
