English farmers see climate change solutions

As the UN Climate Change Conference began in Copenhagen last week, British farming organisations were arguing for agriculture to be regarded as "part of the solution". This follows a speech by Sir Paul McCartney to the European Parliament on 3 December in which he called for reduced meat consumption (see EE&PL: December 9, 2009, p23-24).
