Commission to launch study into plastic waste

The European Commission is planning to launch a study into plastic waste later this year, a Commission official told EE&PL last week.rnSpeaking to EE&PL on 5 November, the official said the result of the study could be ready by next spring. "The issue is how much plastic there is in the environment.
