Commission says delay in van proposal not political

DG Environment's spokesperson Barbara Helfferich has denied recent media claims that the delay in the publication of a draft legislation on reduction of CO_2 emissions from vans was political and due to internal disagreements. Speaking to EE&PL on 16 September, Helfferich hit out at press allegations that the delay was due to different opinions between DG Environment and DG Enterprise.
