Chemicals campaigner becomes ENVI vice chair

Swedish Green MEP and long-time campaigner on chemical safety Carl Schlyter was named one of four vice chairs of the European Parliament's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee on 16 July.rnThe other vice chairs nominated at the Committee's constituent meeting in Strasbourg are Danish Socialist Dan Joergensen, French Liberal Corinne Lepage and Boguslaw Sonik a Polish member of the European People's Party.
